About Andrew

Professional Landscape Photographer

Andrew has been following his passion for photography since he was a child and just old enough to hold his first camera a Kodak pocket Instamatic. Things have come a long way since then. He is now a internationally recognized award winning panoramic photographer with over sixty international awards to his name for his fine art landscape photography. Completely self-taught, he is well known for his ability to produce high quality eye catching landscape photography from both New Zealand and Australia.

Andrew has been operating commercially for several years and was the founder of Birdseye Aerial Photography supplying much of the Sunshine coasts real estate companies with their landscape, aerial and interior photography needs. Nowadays Andrew concentrates on his landscape photography, which is his true passion and has recently started doing day trip photography tours in the Bay of Islands as well as extended tours to the South Island New Zealand. Andrew also runs photography workshops to teach Landscape, wildlife and night photography. Born and raised in New Zealand Andrew now resides in the Bay of Islands but takes the opportunity when ever possible to travel overseas to add to his port folio of landscape and seascape photography.

Photography for me is the ability to capture a moment in time that is visually alluring and holds your attention. Photography takes me to places I otherwise wouldn't see at times I would normally sleep and although I might not want to get out of bed at crazy hours in the morning, at the end of the day reflecting on the days events my life is enriched for the effort.
